Human deaths can be predicted through artificial intelligence

Researchers are experimenting with artificial intelligence, to find out when to die. Researchers at Pennsylvania's Geisinger Health System have invented such artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence predicts imminent death by checking and comparing ECG results.

Artificial intelligence can directly analyze ECG signals or compare them with standard ECG reports. This artificial intelligence will predict how likely the patient is to die within a year. It is also noteworthy that this artificial intelligence has been able to accurately predict the death of even patients who were judged by many doctors to be nothing particularly wrong. The artificial intelligence predicted death by looking at the ECG, which could not find anything wrong despite being examined by three cardiologists.

The team analyzed 17.7 lakh ECG results from nearly 4 lakh patients. Another study by the same team found that artificial intelligence could also identify patients who are at risk of future heart arrhythmias. The two studies used nearly 200,000 ECG reports stored at the Geisinger Health System in Pennsylvania. The discovery is a sign that computers will play a significant role in diagnosis and other things in the future, along with doctors.
