 Who is a food technologist?

  3. Nutritional Therapist - Here, your responsibility will be to deal with the food and food habits of people suffering from various diseases who have to go on a diet.
  4. Technical Brewer - A technical brewer is responsible for brewing, packaging and marketing of beer for beer factories or restaurants.
  5. Food Blogger/Vlogger - This profile got attention and recognition recently. This is an attractive profile. You will travel around the world, enjoy different cuisines and make a video or a blog about your experience and the particular cuisine. If you have thorough knowledge about food cuisines and varieties, it will be an added advantage.

 

Employment Sectors of a Food Technologist

The various sectors or fields where you can be employed after obtaining a degree in food technology are Food processing and production units, quality assurance units, food marketing, food business management, processing and distribution units, hotels, laboratories, beer factories etc.
