  2. Pharm is an undergraduate course of four years duration. B.Pharm courses are conducted in government sector as well as recognized and private sector.

Educational Qualification: Biology with not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics/Biotechnology/Computer Science with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and Plus or equivalent qualification. Candidates who have appeared in the final year plus two examination can also apply.Those who have passed the Pharmacy Final Diploma Examination (D.Pharm) with not less than 50% marks are also eligible. But they must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics at Plus Two level.

  1. Pharm. Qualify Navark GATE with not less than 50% marks and two year M.Pharm with fellowship. Join the course. M. Tech. (BioTechnola G/Bioinformatics), M.B.A. (Pharma Marketing) and B. Pharm courses also have higher study options.

There are more than 50 seats in Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode Medical Colleges, Pampadi Nehru College and Perinthalmanna Al Shifa College. There is also an opportunity to study with specialization. Admission is based on the examination conducted by the State Entrance Examination Commissioner.

 

Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate)

For those who have completed B.Pharm, Pharm.D in three years. This is a degree course. The duration of study is three years. Eligibility: Approved B.Pharm with 50% marks

There are 500 seats in more than 15 institutes in Kerala based on the entrance exam, the State Entrance Examination Commissioner conducts Pharm D admission in the state. This is based on the marks in the first paper of the Engineering Entrance Exam which consists of Physics and Chemistry. So aspirants for Pharm D admission should apply for the entrance exam conducted by the State Entrance Examination Commissioner.

 

Doctor of Pharmacy

It is a pre-PhD post-graduate professional doctoral program. The duration of study is six years out of which the last one year is internship. Can be released as Clinical Pharmacist. This course offers excellent career opportunities at the international level.

Eligibility:- Plus two pass with 50% marks with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and none of Mathematics and Biology or DePharm course from Pharmacy Council recognized institute with minimum 50% marks. or any other course recognized as equivalent by the Pharmacy Council.

 

B.Pharm (Ayurveda)

The duration of the course is four years. This course is offered in Kerala at Parasshinikadav Ayurveda Medical College, Kannur. There are 30 seats. Educational qualification is a plus. They have good prospects in pharmaceutical manufacturing and research field

The National Institute, which has university-like status, has centers at Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Hajipur, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Rae Bareilly and SPS Nagar. There are MPham, MS Pharm, MTech Pharm, MTech, MBA Pharm, Phd, Integrated PG and Phd programs with various specializations.
