Paramedics and emergency medical technicians are supposed to respond to emergency calls from patients who may be having a heart attack or any other issue in-home or highway. They are found in the ambulances to provide instant care for the patients. • Advanced emergency medical technicians: does everything the above category can do and also does some limited advanced interventions too.
• Paramedics: most skilled emergency responders who are capable to do invasive and pharmacological interventions. They need to successfully complete a nationally accredited paramedic program at the degree level.
